The International Childcare Education (ICE) training centre is approved by City and Guilds and is offering a diploma and advanced diploma in Children’s Care, learning and development.
ICE is committed to providing students with the opportunity to develop their ability and passion for working with children; enabling them to gain valuable work experience, obtain references and increased opportunity of employment. We pride ourselves on delivering a high level of education and creating a professional, friendly, learning environment.
All ICE staff have been approved by City and Guilds and hold all the relevant qualifications. We follow all guidelines, rules and regulations outlined by City and Guilds. An external verifier also visits us twice yearly to ensure we are meeting City and Guilds standards.
Working with children is one of the most challenging but rewarding of career choices. ICE is offering this course to anyone who wishes to pursue a career in childcare regardless of experience, race, gender or age.
The diploma in Children’s Care, Learning and Development is aimed at nursery assistants, crèche and playgroup workers, and special needs assistants working in a supporting role.
The advanced is aimed at childminders, day-care supervisors, nursery nurses and teaching assistants.
We have 3 intakes a year January, April and September.
We have work-placements available at a variety of international schools and nurseries in Andalucia.
