According to the Guinness Book of Records, this is the oldest restaurant in the
world, dating back from 1725. Today, the restaurant is a tourist spot, since it
appears in so many guides. The restaurant is very popular with the locals and
they still go there to sample the excellent food, specialities being cochinillo
asado (roast suckling pig) and cordero asado (roast lamb) cooked with rich red
wine. The restaurant is spread over four floors with original floor tiles,
