1. Why do I need to Register
   
   If you want to place an ad on the site you need to first register your email.
   This is completely free and takes two minutes to complete.
   We guarantee your complete privacy and your email is never displayed any where on the site including your Ads. We hate spammers as much as you and that's why your email is NEVER disclosed to any third parties.
   a). Click the Login or SignUp links.
   b). Enter only your Name, email and password.
   c). We send you an email with an activation code to verify your email. You click the link in the email that will redirect you back to the website.
   d). Your account is activated for you to start advertising.
   
   
2. Search for a Car or Property
   
   If you are on the Cars4Sale, BargainProperties or LongTermRentals page, a quick search link is provided. The page automatically displays the top 10 Adverts in date order. You use the page navigation buttons at the bottom of the page to view the next 10 Ads.
   
   To Search for specific car start by a broad search criteria to see if a particular make exists on the database i.e. Mercedes, if all the models for Mercedes are displayed narrow the search further by typing a model type i.e. E Class or ML320, Sports Coupe, Convertible, .......
   You can use any keyword, i.e. costa del sol, Fuengirola, quick sale, etc and any Ads that match these keywords will be displayed. Leave the search criteria blank to search ALL Ads.
   
   For Properties the same applies. Just type in the area you are searching, number of bedrooms, bathrooms, mountain view, etc,...
   
   i.e. Price, 4 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Penthouse, etc, etc
   
   You can also search for an Ad by the item number. This is useful if you need to modify or delete your Ad.
   
   
3. How do I Advertise on the site?
   
   Please Note. YOU must sign in before you can post an Advert.
   
   A Place an Ad link is displayed on all the appropriate pages.
   When you click this link a new screen will be displayed for you to enter all your Ad details.
   
   
4. When will my advertisement appear on the site?
   
   All Advertisements will be online as soon as the online payment is successfully completed. Please note: you get your first Ad Free for 1 month. Check out the 'Services' page for more information on our services and pricing.
   
   
5. How do I write a good advert?
   
   A online ad helper will generate the basic body text of your advert for you. However, you are likely to want to add and edit certain details of your advert to make it more attractive to a buyer.
   
   Cars: Pick out a few important features that make your vehicle a good buy, e.g. Low mileage, few previous owners, long IVA/MOT, anything you think will improve your vehicle's value.
   
   Propertys: Include all important features that make your property attractive for Renting or Sale, e.g. Bedrooms have en suite, under floor heating, private garden, comfortable modern furniture, quite location, near schools, walking distance to amenities, South West (S.W.Facing), anything you think will improve your chances to Sale or Rent.
   
   Be realistic about the price, asking over the odds will only mean you have to advertise again next month. Check the going rate for your vehicle. Car sellers can use WhatCar?'s 'What's it Worth?' valuation tool.
   This valuation tool is for UK cars only. Use only for Comparison purpose as there is no such tool available in Spain.
   
   Attach a photo, it'll make your advert stand out and you'll get a better response. Finally, be honest; lying about the condition of your vehicle will only waste your time and theirs. Always tick 'Will Negotiate' feature check box available when you type your Ad. Hundreds of buyers are shy to make offers and you could miss a sale by sticking to your price.
   
   This equally applies to properties. A typical property is on the market today for 80 days before a successful sale is generated. This off-course can take even longer if the asking price is unrealistic. You should always consider accepting offers or participate in the online bidding feature that we provide. You will be amazed how many people out there will shy away from making an offer face to face.
   
   
6. How do I attach a photo online to my advert?
   
   Uploading a photograph to your advert is simple, providing you have a digital or scanned in picture of your vehicle or property to use. Remember to scan your image at the appropriate size and resolution. Photos that are more than 500kbs will not be accepted as this slows down the display time on the web site.
   
   The minimum specification of an image to appear on the website is 640x480 pixels in size, and a resolution of 72dpi. The aspect ratio should be 4 by 3. Images can only be accepted in jpeg (.jpg .jpeg .gif) format.
   
   The photograph should be a true representation of the advertised item. We cannot accept adverts supplied with stock or library photos nor can we accept 'cut-outs' or montages. SolAds.com reserves the right to remove such photos from adverts placed for publication on the website as appropriate.
   
   If your supplied image is removed SolAds.com can add a suitable alternative if you email it to webmaster@solads.com Please write your full name, and item number (a unique item number will be emailed to you once you've placed an advert).
   
   
7. Can I include more than one photo?
   
   Yes. You can upload up to 4 photos for your Car or Property.
   
   
8. How can I amend the details on my advert once it's live, e.g. lower the price?
   
   You can amend your Ad to change the price, change the photos or anything else about the Ad as long as the Ad is not expired. After log-in, search for your Ad and you will see an 'edit' button next to the Ad. Click this and all the Ad details will be populated in a form for you to amend. Just click on the 'Update Ad' button once you have completed your changes.
   
   
9. How do I keep my advert on the site for longer than I originally agreed?
   
   Regrettably, the only solution for now is to place a new Ad after the current Ad has expired.
   
   
10. My item is now sold, how do I remove my ad from the site?
    
    After log-in, search for your Ad and you will see an 'edit' button next to your Ad. Click this and all the Ad details will be populated in a form. Just click on the 'Delete Ad' button and confirm that you want to delete your Ad.
    
    
11. How do I Pay for the Ad
    
    When you complete your Ad, just click on the 'Make Payment' button. This will re-direct you to Paypal's secured payment site where you can pay either by a Paypal account or any major credit or debit card.
    
    Please Note: You must return to solads.com site to complete the transaction by clicking the'RETURN TO MERCHANT' button on the Paypal site.
